Housekeeping Lead

Job Summary: Provides cleaning services to the club and maintains a clean and safe environment for all members while they are using the club. Interacts positively and professionally with all staff, members, guests and prospects while monitoring club cleanliness and safety at all times.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Vacuuming

  • Cleaning Bathrooms/Locker Rooms

  • Cleaning hardwood and Rubber floors

  • Cleaning mirrors & glass

  • Parking Lot Areas

  • Towels collecting, laundering, folding

  • Washing the Tennis Courts

  • Document daily cleaning on Cleaning Checklists

  • Staying informed by daily reviewing the Housekeeping Communication Log

  • Maintaining a safe environment through correct implementation of safety policies and procedures

  • Maintaining supply inventory and ordering supplies as necessary

  • Trains new staff and ensures completion of the New Hire Checklist

  • Creates and maintains weekly work schedules within budgeted hours

  • Train employees on the MSDS forms as well as the use of the required safety gear

  • Maintain and train a quality staff

  • Other duties as assigned

  • Maintaining the cleanliness of the pool and spa (where applicable):

  • Chemical testing of the pool and ensuring proper chemical balance
  • Vacuuming the pool
  • Back flush and clean filters
  • Clean tile around pool deck
  • Clean spa
  • Add chemicals to and document levels on Pool/Spa Chemical Checklist
  • Requirements and Qualifications:

    • Supervisory experience and building a team in Housekeeping

    • Communication skills, including reading and writing

    • Lift and carry up to 45 lbs.

    • Ability to Sit, Squat, Stand, Walk, Kneeling, Bending/Neck Twist, Twisting Neck/Waist, Balancing, Pulling, Pushing, and Stacking

    • Bilingual skills a plus

    • Experience in a professional setting proving general housekeeping

    • Knowledge of cleaning chemicals

    • Current CPR certification or ability to pass CPR certification within 60 days of hire date

    • Flexible, positive attitude and physically capable of doing the job

    Work Environment/ Physical Demands:While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to fumes or airborne particles, changes in temperature/humidity; moving mechanical parts and vibration and exercise equipment; frequently required to stand, walk 4-8hours/8 hour day; use hands to finger, handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms; and frequently use both feet and move them forward/backward and side to side; seldom required to sit; frequently to climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl; and continuously reach and twist, including side-to-side movements; carry or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift, carry or move 26-50 pounds.



    Don't Be Fooled

    The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
